One of the biggest national hunt race meetings at Naas – the Paddy Power Cheltenham Trials Day. The Cheltenham Festival is creeping closer and trainers use this meeting as one of the last opportunities to get a run into their Cheltenham contenders before they head over to the big stage. A Cheltenham Preview and Showcase will be taking place on the day and it is certainly a meeting not to be missed at Naas.
The Leinster National at Naas Racecourse has played host to some of the greatest jumping stars who were preparing for Irish Grand National glory at Fairyhouse. It’s the richest national hunt race at Naas, worth €100,000! The day itself is the finale of national hunt at Naas for the 2017 season and it is a seven-race card.
Naas Racecourse will be opening the Irish Flat Season for the second year running. This will be a really exciting race meeting with the EBF Park Express Stakes and the Irish Lincolnshire taking centre stage.
The second flat race meeting of the season at Naas and the Gladness Stakes will be the feature race on the day. It will also be the first family fun race day of the year, falling perfectly for the Easter Holidays we will have lots of free children’s activities on the day.

The Royal Ascot Trials Day at Naas Racecourse is one of the feature race meetings within the Irish Flat season especially for those preparing for glory at Royal Ascot. This meeting at Naas is the flagship flat race day of the year. The increased popularity of Royal Ascot in recent years and the corresponding need for preparation races has seen the importance of Naas increase significantly. The Spring Summer Ladies Day will also take place on the day.
The summer is in and the BBQ’s are out. The very popular barbeque evenings at Naas Racecourse are back and this year they will be better than ever. The feature race on the evening will be the Naas Oaks trial and it is an evening meeting so the first race will take place at approximately 6pm.
