TRM Strengthens Naas Partnership for 2026 with Expanded Rewards Across the Industry
TRM Equine Nutrition has reaffirmed its commitment to Naas Racecourse for the 2026 flat season, building on an already strong partnership with an even greater focus on rewarding excellence across the racing community.
Now a familiar and welcome presence at Naas, TRM will once again sponsor six races throughout the flat campaign. The popular Best-Turned-Out League returns for 2026, continuing to shine a spotlight on the dedication and pride shown by grooms on racedays. Alongside the overall league prize, grooms responsible for both the Best-Turned-Out horse and the winning horse on TRM race days will receive €100 and a TRM goodie bag in recognition of their work behind the scenes. The overall league-winning yard will again enjoy a celebratory breakfast and a €1,000 TRI Equestrian Store voucher.
In a new addition for this season, the winning trainer on each TRM-sponsored race day will receive a €500 TRM voucher, extending the rewards across the training ranks and reinforcing TRM’s support at every level of the sport. Owners and trainers will also see TRM’s presence more prominently throughout the season, with product giveaways taking place in the Owners & Trainers area across sponsored fixtures.
The public-voted awards for Ride of the Season and Training Performance of the Season also return following a hugely positive response last year. The online voting initiative generated strong engagement from racing fans at the end of the season, who enjoyed the opportunity to have their say and recognise standout performances at Naas.
Last year’s Ride of the Season went to Keithen Kennedy for a well-timed, patient ride aboard Tawaazon, while the Training Performance of the Season was awarded to Andy Slattery, after Sunchart successfully defended his title in the Listed Devoy Stakes. Both winners received €1,000 worth of TRM products and merchandise in recognition of their achievements.
The 2026 partnership was officially launched earlier this month at the yard of local trainer Ross O’Sullivan, last season’s Best-Turned-Out League winners. The morning centred on recognising Ross and his team for their achievement, with TRM and Naas Racecourse presenting the yard with their league voucher and merchandise, along with hosting a celebratory breakfast on site. It was a well-deserved acknowledgment of the consistency and attention to detail shown by the entire team throughout the season.
TRM will also continue its backing of emerging talent through the TRM – From Ireland to The World Apprentice Handicap on the final day of the flat season at Naas. Now entering its third year, the initiative has already provided valuable support to rising riders, including last year’s winning rider, Sadhbh Tormey. As in previous seasons, the winning apprentice rider, if not already under sponsorship, will receive a one-year sponsorship agreement with TRM, including branded riding equipment and apparel, offering a meaningful boost to their developing career.
Speaking following the launch, Enda Kelly, TRM CCO, said:
“Naas continues to be an important track for TRM, and we are delighted to expand our involvement again this year. Recognising the contribution of stable staff, while also supporting trainers and riders, is central to what we stand for as a company.”
Naas Racecourse General Manager Aidan McGarry added:
“TRM’s partnership goes beyond race sponsorship. Their focus on rewarding the people who make racing happen each day brings real energy to our flat season, and we are very pleased to continue working together in 2026.”
The TRM-sponsored flat season at Naas begins on the opening day of the flat season, March 22nd, with six race days set to carry the TRM name across the campaign.
