TRM Back-to-Back Racing Industry at Naas
After a successful partnership last season TRM Equine Nutrition, Europe’s largest manufacturer and distributor of nutritional feed supplements and general healthcare products for horses, has announced they will be returning to Naas Racecourse to once again sponsor six races throughout the upcoming flat season.
The continued sponsorship was announced Tuesday morning at Michael O’Callaghan’s stables. TRM treated all staff to breakfast to celebrate them being the yard that topped the league for the most Best-Turned-Out Awards throughout last season at the county Kildare track.
At the launch, TRM also announced for the 2024 season they would again be running the Best-Turned-Out League along with the Trainer's League across the turf season. The leading flat trainer at Naas in 2024 can look forward to €3000 worth of TRM supplements, the runner up €2000 and the second runner up €1000 while the Best-Turned-Out League winners will again bag a €1000 voucher for the TRI Equestrian Store with breakfast delivered to the yard to reward all the hard work put in by the winning team.
TRM aims to recognise all connections of the horse by providing each winning trainer and breeder of the six TRM supported races with TRM supplements to the value of €500. The new flat season will also see them introduce an owners hamper to the value of €200 that will be open to every owner with a runner on the raceday at Naas to enter, so if they don’t win on the track, they might still have a chance to win off it!
Speaking at the launch on Tuesday morning, Michael O’Callaghan, Trainer, said "We were delighted to welcome the TRM and Naas Racecourse teams down to the yard and thank you to TRM for providing breakfast for my staff. Everyone here in the yard puts in a huge effort especially when we go racing to ensure the horses look their best and it’s great to see TRM and Naas recognising the work they put in."

The first of the six races backed by TRM will take place on the opening flat meeting of the season at Naas Racecourse on Sunday, 24th March.
