Toals.com Bookmakers announced as sponsor of the Leinster National at Naas Racecourse

Naas Racecourse have announced that Toals.com Bookmakers will sponsor the Leinster National for the first time on March 11TH. The Mouse Morris-trained Alpha Des Obeaux tops the weights for the ninth running of the valuable Leinster National at Naas. A number of the entries are likely to line up in the Toals.com Bookmakers Leinster National in preparation for the Irish Grand National and Alpha Des Obeaux, Baie Des Iles, Road To Riches, Thunder And Roses, General Principle, Bonny Kate, Pairofbrowneyes and Wounded Warrior are all included in the English Grand National next month. Gordon Elliott has a typically strong hand in the race and he commented this morning; “We’ll definitely have a few runners in the Leinster National at Naas. We’ve put seven into the race and could run two or three but nothing is written in stone yet. You’d be thinking it could be a perfect opportunity to get a run into one or two before they have a crack at the Irish National.” The colours of Alan and Ann Potts were carried to victory in the race by Venitien De Mai two years ago and their retained jockey Robbie Power is looking forward to A Sizing Network lining up in the race at Naas on Sunday week. Power said; “Sizing Network won three nice races last year and seems to be in great form so the Leinster National could be his next port of call. He’s a very good jumper and Naas would suit him well and it is certainly a race that is on his radar.” Aside from the sponsorship announcement of the Leinster National and two supporting races, Toals.com Bookmakers announced Brian Hughes as their Racing Ambassador this week.
