Royal Ascot Trials & Ladies Day

Sunday 15th May

The Royal Ascot Trials Day at Naas Racecourse is one of the flagship meetings in the Irish and Naas Racing calendar, especially for those preparing for Royal Ascot glory.

A number of high quality colts such as Dawn Approach, Caravaggio, Sioux Nation & Kew Gardens have all won at Naas before success at the Royal meeting. The fillies listing is equally impressive, Lillie Langtry, Sky Lantern, Winter, Quiet Reflection & Alpha Centauri.

The feature race is the Goffs Lacken Stakes (Group 3)  and the  Coolmore Irish EBF Fillies Sprint Stakes ( Group 3) There are also competitive listed races with the Owenstown Stud Stakes and Sole Power Sprint Stakes.

The increased popularity of Royal Ascot and the corresponding need for preparation races have seen the importance of Naas Royal Ascot Trials Day increase significantly.

Ladies Day – Rosanna Davison will head up the fashion judging panel for our ladies Day. The Ladies Day will be sponsored by Ireland’s leading lifestyle company, Newbridge Silverware who will provide the Best Dressed Lady with a voucher to the value of €2,000.
