Opening of The Naas Flat Season 2024
Sunday 24th March
The first meeting of the flat season at Naas takes place on Sunday 24th March. We will be bringing 7 great races, the races include the Listed Devoy Stakes and the Madrid Premier Handicap, last year won by future champion PADDINGTON, sponsored by the Irish Racing Writers.
Due to parts of our Sprint course being unfit for racing after heavy rain & some remedial work during the winter & with an unsettled forecast, Sprint races on Sunday are cancelled. Two additional handicaps have been added to the card.
Continued support and sponsorship comes from Micheal Orlandi’s stallion station, Compas Stallions, as they sponsor 4 races including the The Dubawi Legend Irish EBF Fillies Maiden which has seen recent classic winners TUESDAY and EMPRESS JOSEPHINE emerge from this race.
