The first meeting of the flat season at Naas takes place on Sunday 27th March. We will be bringing 8 great races, the feature races include the listed Plusvital Devoy Stakes, the Madrid Handicap and we also have Compas Stallions sponsoring four races on the day. 

For this raceday, Naas Racecourse will be donating all of our gate & race card sales to the Irish Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.

Track Walk

At 10:30am the morning of racing multiple Classic-winning jockey, Chris Hayes will join clerk of the course, Brendan Sheridan and general manager Eamonn McEvoy to take anyone interested on a walk of the track that is certain to be informative and enlightening.  This unique opportunity is available free of charge just register your interest email Niamh at [email protected]

The People Behind the Moment 

At 12.15pm once gates open we will have The People Behind The Moment panel discussion in the Marquee with jockey Chris Hayes, local trainer Ross O’Sullivan, breeder Michéal Orlandi of Compass Stallions,  Johnny Bourke of Syndicates. Racing and Heather Downey, representing the event sponsors Equuip. Complimentary tea, coffee and sweet treats will be served.

For the Kids 

Goodie bags, Race Simulator will be here throughout the day, face painting 1 – 3pm, Magic Show 1 – 2pm and we also have an onsite creche. Family admission tickets are available for €25.00 which includes two adults with kids. 

As it is also Mother’s Day why not treat your Mother or wife to a day at the races in our beautiful Panoramic Restaurant. Packages start at €55pp. 

Gates open at 12:00pm and the first race is off at 1:30pm on the day.
