QuinnBet Chasing Cheltenham Clues At Naas Racecourse
Naas Racecourse is proud to welcome QuinnBet, to the sponsorship ranks as they assume sponsorship of the Hunters Chase on their Cheltenham Trials Day, for two years. The new partnership will see QuinnBet hold the naming rights to the Hunters Chase which has produced Cheltenham Festival clues, on Saturday 10th February.
The QuinnBet Hunters Chase has been won in all four of its runnings by the Willie Mullins-trained and Patrick Mullins-ridden Billaway. Each win led on to the Cheltenham Festival, with two seconds and a win in the St. James's Place Festival Challenge Cup Open Hunters' Chase. Not seen since winning a Hunters Chase in Downpatrick in May 2023, Billaway will be returning to the Co. Kildare track to reclaim his crown and, hopefully, subsequent Cheltenham Festival glory.
Founded in 2017, QuinnBet is a rapidly growing brand in the iGaming sector, providing a hugely popular, licensed online sports betting and casino platform in the UK and Ireland.
Niall McPartland, Head of Commercial & Sponsorship at QuinnBet, commented: “We are delighted to commence this partnership with Naas Racecourse, which features top-class racing throughout the year. Naas hosts a mixture of jump and flat racing, which regularly attracts the biggest equine names to compete against one another. As well as drawing large annual attendance crowds, the meetings at Naas also feature prominently across broadcast and print media. The partnership therefore offers QuinnBet a fantastic stage to showcase our brand to both jump and flat racing fans across Ireland and the UK and to further support Irish Racing. We wish the team at Naas Racecourse continued success for the year ahead”.
Eamonn McEvoy, General Manager of Naas Racecourse, added: “We are delighted to welcome QuinnBet on board as sponsors at Naas Racecourse as they continue to show great support to Irish Racing. Our Cheltenham Trials Day is a favourite for racegoers to mark their cards and this year’s renewal of the QuinnBet Hunters Chase looks very strong with reliable Billaway along with two former Grade 1 winners, Battleoverdoyen and Hardline”.
