Naas Racecourse host ‘Women in Racing’ Event with panel of top female racing personalities

                          Ladies go free to Women in Racing event from 1pm – 2pm  followed by National Hunt Racing

To celebrate Women in Racing on International Women’s Day, Naas Racecourse will host a special event Celebrating Women in Racing with panel of top female racing personalities on Sunday 8th March, followed by MansionBet Leinster National Day.                                            

Some of racing’s Leading Ladies, including Trainer Jessica Harrington, Jockey Lisa O’Neill, Dr Jennifer Pugh and stable staff member Debbie Flavin will discuss their Challenges, Opportunities and Inspirations with Tamso Doyle, MC of the event. Celebrating Women in Racing event will take place in the Circle Lounge (ground floor) at 1pm- 2pm and complimentary tea/coffee and sweet treats will be provided for those who attend the event.

Eamonn Mc Evoy, General Manager of Naas Racecourse said: “International Women’s Day falls on our MansionBet Leinster National Day and we felt it would be the perfect opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate all the fantastic ladies in the industry on their achievements and talents. We are inviting everyone to get involved and come celebrate Women in Racing with us on Sunday 8th March before racing at 1pm in the Circle Lounge.”

Dr Jennifer Pugh commented: “I feel privileged to take part in this Event at Naas Racecourse. Racing has a long history of successful female participants and at a time when women’s sport is gaining so much well deserved traction, racing needs to continue to be at the forefront.  This initiative by Naas Racecourse is a fantastic opportunity for racing to showcase its females and with women involved will no doubt be good fun as well!”
