Best Dressed Lady Prize at Nass Racecourse Revealed

Naas Racecourse has an incredible prize on offer for the most stylish lady at the Spring Summer Ladies Day in association with Palmerstown House Estate and Kildare Village on Sunday the 21st of May. You could live it up, ‘Downton Abbey style’ and enjoy a night away at Palmerstown House Estate with 19 of your closest friends including dinner.  Naturally, all self-respecting ladies of the manor need to be impeccably turned out and the prize also includes a €1,000 Kildare Village shopping spree. The winner on the day will be selected by former Fair City actress, Dancing with the Stars runner-up and VIP’s Most Stylish woman, Aoibhin Garrihy, who is the Style Ambassador for this year at Naas Racecourse. She will be joined by one of Ireland’s leading digital fashion influencers, Lisa McGowan, Anna Fortune of the Kildare Post Newspaper and Laura Mullett, TV3 Fashion Broadcaster and red carpet stylist. Speaking ahead of the Spring Summer Ladies Day, Aoibhin Garrihy said; “It’s a great honour to be judging the best dressed lady event this year at Naas Racecourse. It is a venue that I’ve come to many times over the years and the fashion is always brilliant here. I’ll be eyeing up some of the best summer looks and hopefully the weather will stay good on the day to ensure everyone can show off their very best outfits without worrying about the rain. The prize on offer for the best dressed lady is absolutely fantastic, as Palmerstown House Estate is a stunning location and Kildare Village is a great place to spend a few hours shopping.” Catherine Murray, Sales and Marketing Manager at Naas Racecourse, said; “With Kildare being such a thriving place for some of the finest boutiques and fine fashion in Ireland, we always get to see plenty of great outfits on ladies day events at Naas. We’re delighted with the generous sponsorship of both Palmerstown House Estate and Kildare Village, and the prizes for the best dressed lady will really make it a title worth winning.” It is yet another big day on the racing calendar for Naas Racecourse, who opened the flat racing season for the first time ever this year. Putting the fashion aside, the feature race on the day will be the Grade 3 EMS Copiers Lacken Stakes, an event that was won by the Joe Murphy-trained Only Mine in 2016. Admission on the day is €15 per person, registration for Ladies Day is free of charge. Ladies Day registration will take place at the pavilion located beside the parade ring from 1pm-3.30pm, there will also be roaming registrations onsite. Those who enter will be treated to a complimentary prosecco. First race of the day is at 2.05pm.
