🏇Jody’s Five to Follow as the Jumps Return this Sunday!

🏇 Jockey Ambassador Jody Townend’s Top 5 Picks for Sunday at Naas!

We’re back jumping at Naas this Sunday, and who better to guide us through the action than our Jockey Ambassador, Jody Townend! As the new Jumps season kicks off, Jody shares her Top 5 picks to watch out for on what promises to be a fantastic day of racing.

1️⃣ 1.20pm – Positive Energy

Very interesting to see Paul (Townend) take the ride here - he’s rarely seen on an outside mount, so that instantly caught my attention! This one could run a big race, and it’ll be worth keeping a close eye on him. ⚡

2️⃣ 1.52pm – Fruit De Mer

The trainer and jockey combo are on fire at the moment! A winner of a point-to-point and first past the post in his bumper (only demoted due to interference), he looks to be the one they’ll all have to beat. 🍀

3️⃣ 2.27pm – Spillanes Tower

A fascinating runner returning to hurdles after some time. He’s more than 30 pounds lower over hurdles compared to his chase mark, which makes him look very well in here. A big run would be no surprise! 💪

4️⃣ 3.02pm – Only By Night

I think she could get the measure of the geldings over this trip. She’s got a nice profile and I’d be happy to take a chance on her here - she might just surprise a few! 🌙

5️⃣ 3.37pm – The Wallpark

A Grade 1 performer over hurdles, he’s the standout in this beginners’ chase. This looks an ideal starting point for him, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes on to bigger things as the season progresses. ⭐

That’s my five for Sunday - it’s looks like a very exciting card with some stand out clashes!
